Loved our time here. It was my fourth visit. Having been twice with my Walking Group in May 2015 and May 2016, I persuaded my husband to come with me in April this year. We came back in November and had a lovely time again. Food is lovely and service and friendliness of the staff are great. We’ll be back.

I have just returned from a really enjoyable two night stay in the Hotel Westport. The hotel is a convenient short stroll from the town by the river. The staff are extremely friendly, the best I have seen in a long time. On my first night there I didn't sleep great as there was some noise on the corridor and I could hear the man in the room beside mine snoring. I reported this to the reception staff. The receptionist was very pleasant and courteous and said I would be moved to another room on the top floor which should hopefully be quieter. To my pleasant surprise I was upgraded to a suite on the second floor first thing the next morning, probably the nicest room I have had the pleasure of staying in. I thought that this was a really nice gesture from the hotel and for this reason alone I would highly recommend the hotel and would most definitely return again. I would really recommend paying that bit extra for a suite as they are truly stunning. Food is tasty and the leisure facilities are excellent. Well worth a visit.
